As much as I like to get out in nature, out in the field to take my photos, much of my photo editing work is done at the desk. That’s why I love the freedom of painting and oils have always been my favourite medium. I love their richness, the slow drying, the way the colours merge together in the most hypnotic gradients. So much expression and movement in the brush and it’s so different on my body and mind.
All works are painted with professional artist grade, Australian made oil paints from Art Spectrum. PaintsI have been using since my first foray into oil painting when I was 17 years old. Framed in Tasmanian oak.
