‘Oasis’ captures a lush mossy enclave beside a rainforest river in Tasmania’s Cradle Mountain wilderness region. A quiet, dreamlike refuge touched by magic. The image evokes a hidden world where dragonflies shimmer and fairies might linger, inviting a sense of wonder and stillness. Shot handheld in low light, creates a softness that enhances its ethereal quality, blurring the line between reality and reverie. This work continues my exploration of Tasmanian landscapes as spaces of mystery, beauty, and thoughtfulness.

An untouched beauty that exudes a siren song to all who fall under its spell.
